Intermón Oxfam planteará en la última semana organizada por el pabellón El Faro en la Exposición Internacional de Zaragoza al público asistente si aceptaría sustituir su gasto mensual en agua mineral por dar acceso al agua potable a 1.200 millones de personas.

El agua mineral es la mejor bebida para evitar la obesidad infantil, según manifestaron los expertos que participaron en el curso ‘Agua, Hidratación y Salud’, que se celebró en Lanjarón del 14 al 18 de julio, informó hoy en un comunicado la Asociación Nacional de Empresas de Aguas de Bebida Envasadas (Aneabe).

El profesor de la Universidad de Granada Antonio Muñoz Hoyos señaló en su ponencia sobre ‘El problema de la obesidad infantil-juvenil relacionado con el consumo de bebidas’ que “entre las estrategias para evitar el sobrepeso está utilizar solamente el agua como fuente de bebida”.

En este sentido, y en relación con los consejos del Comité de Nutrición de la Asociación Española de Pediatría, el experto destacó la necesidad de enseñar al niño a tomar bebidas no azucaradas.

Cabreiroá es la primera empresa gallega de agua mineral que dispone de la Certificación ISO 22000 en Seguridad Alimentaria, concedida por la Asociación Española de Normalización y Certificación (Aenor). Este reconocimiento constata el esfuerzo hecho por la compañía a lo largo de su trayectoria por superar estrictos estándares de calidad y control en todos sus productos.

La nueva certificación sitúa a Cabreiroá como pionera dentro del sector del agua mineral en Galicia en términos de seguridad alimentaria y viene a sumarse a otras con las que ya cuenta la empresa, entre ellas, la ISO 9001 en Calidad (obtenida en 1999), la ISO 14001 en Medio Ambiente (obtenida en 2001) y la OSHAS 18001 en Seguridad y Salud Laboral (de 2005).
